| The
plasma concept provides a new dimension to the large screen monitors field
of vision.
Thanks to its dimensional structure and exceptional picture definition, the plasma is a breakthrough in monitor design. Two of these more important features are the freedom from electromagnetic distortions and the wide viewing angle of 160° ( thus is almost twice as wide as current LCD technology will allow). The plasma has successfully overcome all of the shortcomings of CRT technology where terrestrial and external electromagnetic influences created picture distortion . The result is consistent colourmetry and linearity. An antiglare glass layer allows the monitor be set up in many different positions providing a perfect viewing angle from any position. This new technology provides flat screen performance with exceptional picture quality and an absence of picture distortion. A plasma
screen’s thickness is just a fourth of a standard CRT’ one : the highest
technology is enclosed in a 14.5 cm’s depth. The picture are perfect indeed,
thanks to the 160° viewing angle available, having a 42" diagonal screen
size.
